A solar security camera rental from Solight is a trailer-mounted jobsite surveillance tower with PTZ and fixed cameras, lithium storage, and an onboard solar array — not a home solar camera, not an Amazon doorbell, and not a consumer kit you screw to a fascia. General contractors, mines, and industrial yards rent these mobile towers to watch materials, gates, and after-hours activity when there is no grid and no time to trench power.
Solight also delivers and rents trailer-mounted solar security towers across Texas, including Dallas and Houston. Texas jobs are quoted from the Mesa factory — not a local Texas yard. See solar security tower rental Texas.
Jobsite towers, not eufy or doorbell cameras
Search results for this phrase are flooded with residential gadgets. That is the wrong category. Solight units are industrial: towable or cart-based platforms with elevated cameras, cellular or network live view, and battery banks measured in kilowatt-hours, not doorbell pack-hours. They sit in a laydown yard in Phoenix, a highway package in Flagstaff, or a mine camp, and they keep recording when the diesel light tower would have been shut off to save fuel.
If you need illumination plus cameras on one mast, that is the SLT-S hybrid family. If you need cameras only, that is SOCAM / SOCART. Both live under /security/, and both can be quoted as rentals from Mesa.
What a camera-tower rental is for
Typical uses: copper-wire and tool theft on night jobs, gate control on a fenced yard with no office, time-lapse of a critical pour or shutdown, remote verification so a superintendent is not driving at 2 a.m. for a false alarm. Because the platform is solar, you do not run a generator all night just to keep cameras up. Pair it with a lighting rental when the same site also needs task light — see solar light tower rental.
Arizona delivery is the default conversation. We rent in Arizona, California, Utah, and Nevada from the Mesa factory. Nationwide sale/ship is available on the same SKUs if the project is a purchase, not a rental.
Models: SOCAM, SOCART, and SLT-S camera towers
Full specs and photos are on the solar security catalog and the combined products grid. Rental quotes usually start from these platforms:
- SOCAM-1 — compact solar camera tower, 440 W array, four fixed HD cameras, forklift pockets; towable on private property. Tight yards and interior-site moves.
- SOCAM-2 — 880 W adjustable-tilt array, three fixed bullets plus one PTZ, 5 kWh lithium, fold-up trailer tongue for highway tows.
- SOCAM-3 — same camera count as SOCAM-2 (3 fixed + 1 PTZ) with high-angle adjustable panels when summer sun angle or a crowded trailer deck matters.
- SOCART — 200 W push-cart platform, four fixed HD cameras, fits through a door jamb. Indoor plants, concourses, and spots a trailer cannot roll.
- SLT-1200S — solar light/camera tower: 1200 W array, two HD PTZ cameras, two 100 W LED floods (32,000 lumens), 10 kWh lithium, 25 ft mast. When the night shift needs both light and eyes.
- SLT-2500S — 2500 W, 10-panel array, up to four PTZ cameras, up to six 100 W floods, 20 kWh lithium, 35 ft mast. Larger yards and multi-camera coverage.
- SLT-4100H — hybrid solar/diesel tower (4100 W array, Kubota generator, 100-gallon tank, 20.5 kWh lithium, eight floods). Used when the site wants solar-first runtime with generator backup for weather or extra camera load.
We customize camera counts, recording, and power in Mesa — that is the manufacturer advantage versus a generic surveillance trailer from a national rental counter.
Rental rates: ask, do not guess
Live-view camera towers are quoted per job, not from a public matrix. Some older Solight landing pages mention live view in the neighborhood of $900/month; treat that as a historical talking point, not a 2026 price. Ask for current camera-tower rental rates when you request a quote — model, camera count, live-view vs. record-only, cellular plan, and delivery city all move the number. We will not invent a rate table here.
For Arizona delivery, include the city, the date you need the tower spotted, whether you need PTZ live view, and whether the same job also needs lighting. Hours for quoting: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm Arizona time, at 419 E. Juanita Ave #102, Mesa, AZ 85204. Phone 480-626-2044.
Made in the USA, rented in the Southwest
Solight builds these towers in Mesa. They are not rebadged consumer cameras on a stick. Rentals stay in AZ/CA/UT/NV; purchases ship. If your comparison is a home solar camera kit, you are on the wrong page — this is industrial mobile surveillance. If your comparison is a diesel-powered camera trailer, the pitch is the same as our lighting fleet: drop the fuel ticket and the 2 a.m. refill.
Arizona construction sites that already looked at our lighting pages can start from Arizona construction lights and add cameras as a second trailer or an SLT-S combo unit.
