Question 1

What is a solar light tower?

Accepted Answer

A solar light tower (or solar light plant) is a mobile trailer or cart with a solar array, battery bank, mast, and LED flood lights. It lights construction sites, mines, events, and other off-grid locations without running a diesel engine all night.

Question 2

Are Solight solar light towers made in Arizona?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Solight builds most of its solar light towers in Arizona. Our street address for quotes and pickup coordination is 419 E. Juanita Ave #102, Mesa, AZ 85204.

Question 3

How much can solar save vs diesel?

Accepted Answer

On our homepage math — 10 hours/day, 5 days/week, 52 weeks, diesel at $5.79/gal, refuel about every 5 days — diesel fuel + labor + servicing is about $16,371/year versus about $400/year servicing for solar. Ask for a job-specific quote; fuel prices and duty cycles vary.

Question 4

Can I rent a solar light tower near Phoenix or Las Vegas?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We rent across Arizona, California, Utah, and Nevada, with delivery quoted from Mesa. Call 480-626-2044 or use the rental page to start a quote.

Question 5

Do you sell and ship nationwide?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Purchase orders ship nationwide. Rentals are focused on Arizona, California, Utah, and Nevada (with Texas delivery also quoted when it fits).

Question 6

Which model do I need for a construction jobsite?

Accepted Answer

Many civil and building sites start with the SLT-1200 / SLT-1800 class (about 64,000 lumens, 30 ft mast). Large yards and dual-coverage pads often need the SLT-2500. Tight lots and event staging often fit the SLT-450. We size from your map and hours-after-dusk, not from a one-size SKU.

Question 7

How long will a solar light tower run at night?

Accepted Answer

Runtime depends on array size, battery kWh, LED load, and weather. Mid-size Solight towers are commonly used for dusk-to-dawn construction lighting with multi-day autonomy in normal conditions; hybrid SLT-4100H adds generator backup when the site wants solar-first with a safety net.

Question 8

Are these garden solar lights?

Accepted Answer

No. Solight products are industrial solar light towers / light plants for construction, mining, events, and military use — towable or cart-based platforms with kilowatt-hour battery banks, not patio path lights.

Question 9

What are your hours and how do I get a quote?

Accepted Answer

Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm Arizona time. Email cs@solight.com or call 480-626-2044. Include city, date
